Act 1 of Sailor Moon Crystal

I won't give anything away for those who haven't watched it yet so don't worry I'm only going say what I thought of it.

Okay, so I absolutely love it. It didn't disappoint my expectations at all. I really let my inner fangirl come out to play at 7:00 in the morning. Jeez, huh? I even watched it with my mom and she is going to watch them all with me!!!

So it really is going along with the manga version, which is the version I like a lot. The animation is very beautiful, glossy, cleaner and somehow more elegant in fact just like the manga artwork except it's in colour and moving around . The new looks of the characters are a huge change compare to the 90's version that I had grown accustomed to.

Usagi has changed a bit since the 90s and not just the look of her but also somehow her personality. which I like. She seems less annoying now. Thank god. Kotono Mitsuishi has matured very much since the 90's.

Luna is so ADORABLE!!! I just went "Kawaii!!!" (inside my mind of course) as soon as I saw her. I mean Luna in the 90s was cute too but this Luna is REALLY cute.

Mamoru got a bigger change in looks than Usagi did, damn. I'm not complaining though he's still a heart throb. Only problem I have is that he doesn't call her Dumpling-head anymore. Now it's Bump-head. It's not a huge problem but, you know. (sorry I gave that part away but I figured that I should warn you about that.)

The opening so cool and the song was awesome. The transformaion scene was wonderful but I couldn't tell rather it was 2D or 3D it was very fast.

I just wish the episode was longer...

NOW DON'T WORRY I STILL HOLD THE 90S VERSION VERY CLOSE TO MY HEART BECAUSE I GREW UP WITH IT! I just think that this will be somehow better considering that they won't be doing extra episodes that you could just do without.
